It´s a very exclusive salt since only a few tons per year are released on the market, which makes it a highly appreciated culinary treasure.
Persian salt is collected in a mountain mine in Iran, where there was a sea. It has some blue crystals that have formed by natural fossilization in the specific conditions of this unique place.
PROVENANCE:
- Persian blue salt is a rock salt whose crystals formed more than 100 million years ago in the Precambrian seas. It is extracted from the mountains of Semnan province, in northern Iran.

- It is formed by white crystals and blue crystals of Silvinite.
- 2 mm crystals. in diameter approx.
- It is a salt with a low sodium content and high in potassium.
