CHARACTERISTICS:
Pepper from Jamaica, also called English pepper or Mexican pepper. Much used caribbean cuisine.
Once dried, the beans have a longer half-life than the ground product, so it is advisable to grind it at the time of use. In English it is known as 'allspice' because its flavor is reminiscent of a mixture of three spices: cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. It has antioxidant, antiseptic, analgesic properties and for the relief of gastrointestinal discomfort.

- Chocolate-colored berries of a size approx. 2mm.
- Spicy, with a touch of fruity sweetness.
